STARS Scholarship Program

The STARS Scholarship provides up to $2000 per year to non-traditional students who are parents wanting to go back to school for a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree, professional license or certification.

This scholarship provides money to cover expenses not covered by financial aid or other programs. It may be granted for up to three years (four years for a Bachelor’s degree) as long as the student remains full-time and is working on a degree, license or certification.

The STARS Scholarship may be used by scholars attending the following institutions: Iowa Western Community College, Kaplan University, EQ School of Hair Design, Metropolitan Community College, ITT Tech, UNO, Buena Vista University, Bellevue University, Clarkson College, College of St. Mary’s.  Other schools offering a minimum one year program may also be considered.
